In May 2023, the MBK Alliance identified four MBK Model Communities for their evidence-based track record of success in positively shifting outcomes for boys and young men of color. Nearly one year later, the impact of each of these model communities has not faltered.

✔️ MBK Newark - Reduced homicides by 55 percent in 2022 as compared to 2013.
✔️ MBK Omaha – Reduced homicides by 30 percent from 2011-2022.
✔️ MBK Tulsa – All elementary schools have early learning pre-K and attendance for students of color increased by 33 percent.
✔️ MBK Yonkers – At 91 percent, Yonkers has the highest graduation rate in the State of New York for students of color.
