Honestly, it's amazing movies get made at all. Millions of dollars sunk into an endless amount of moving pieces, schedules, multiple departments, exec notes, directors notes, script rewrites, reshoots and sequel connections. Sometimes all that time and effort goes into scenes that end up on the cutting room floor and… the money. It was revealed that originally Rogue One screenwriters Chris Weitz and Edwards worked on the assumption that Disney wouldn’t allow a dark ending and the film actually ended with a wedding. Cutting Rogue out of X-Men Days of Future past cost Fox twenty two million! Let’s not get started on what that World War Z ending could have looked like because we know a lot of it was shot. Man we’re glad we got the Marty McFly we did when Back To The Future came out. The Snyder cut of Justice League had to alter the story to fit a brand new frankensteined version of Zack’s original vision. In Richard Donner’s The Goonies, the kids are attacked by a giant octopus that only made it on TV. Director Ridley Scott made the decision to reshoot about 20 scenes in just over a week at a cost of 10 million dollars but that's easy with All The Money In The World. John McClane didn’t have the right drill in Die Hard 2 and we haven't even mentioned classic deleted scenes like the extra third of Cleopatra that ended up on the cutting room floor which I’m sure Elizabeth Taylor wasn’t thrilled about. Oh! Have you ever heard about the Wizard of Oz’s Jitterbug dance scene?
