A 260 tons heavy transformer was unloaded off a pontoon at the Ems river in Leer, Germany on April 6, 2017. In the following days, it was transported to the distribution station. A self propelled modular transport systems consisting of 12 axes was used to transport the transformer to the other side of the dike.
