Former politicos Bullock and Heitkamp, legendary TV producer Warren Littlefield, Janessa Goldbeck of Vet Voice, co-directors Jesse Moss and Tony Gerber came to Sundance with a very different type of documentary. One of the big fears from military leaders is that political extremists is growing within their ranks, so much so that if the events of January 6 were repeat themselves some wonder if it possible members of the National Guard would support those who try to stop the election from being ratified. That’s the scenario of the 6-hour game “War Game” simulation Washington leaders took part in, and Moss and Gerber’s cameras were there to capture it. All six participants stopped by the IndieWire Studio, presented Dropbox, to talk what they took away from the eye opening exercise that was meant to serve as a wakeup call.
