This video is part of a new series of nostalgia videos I plan on shooting. They'll focus on a time and a technology/item. This one focuses on 1997 and the IBM Thinkpad 350D running Windows 95.

This laptop was gifted to me, and as I used it it brought back a ton of nostalgia of the time. Computer stores, installing games, technologies such as PCMCIA, and more came flooding back. I chose 5 areas to focus on and created this video as a fun walk through time to compare how we did things then, and how we do them now. They include:

):00 - Intro - Reminiscing about 1997, the movies and the times
3:12 - 1 - Buying a computer - The era of computer stores
6:45 - 2 - Listening to music on a computer - Mod files and such
8:49 - 3 - Researching a topic
11:57 - 4 - Playing / Streaming a video
14:55 - 5 - Fun!

I do intend to release these on a Thursday each month, but this one slipped away as I figure out how to edit and film things like LCD screens while using them :)

Thanks for watching! More home automation and dynaframe videos coming up next!
