I needed a computer for the workshop/server room so I could do things such as console into servers, login to WebGUI's, download drivers for computers in the shop, etc. This computer will be my workbench PC to do those tasks. It will also be a computer I can do lab work on, such as boot other operating systems, dev work, etc. These units are awesome little units. They are much smaller than a SFF but still use a desktop class CPU, the T series from Intel which is the low-power 35W TDP CPUs. They are socketed CPUs and you can upgrade the CPU in this unit. The unit is easy to open and upgrade the RAM, SSD, CPU, etc. They run off standard 65W Lenovo laptop chargers, which there are an abundance of.

In this video I will go over this unit and upgrade the unit. I will max out the RAM by installing 32GB of Crucial RAM, install a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, and max out the CPU by upgrading it to the i7-6700T. I will configure the BIOS, run Memtest86 and then install Windows 10 Pro.

Specs:
Intel Core i7-6700T
32GB RAM
1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus
