Kang the Conqueror is the one who assaults Scott Lang as he tries to escape through the portal with Janet, Pym, Hope, and Cassie. Scott is almost defeated by Kang, but Hope comes back to help him. Scott uses Pym Particles to blow up the power core, killing Kang in the process. Scott and Hope make it back home through the portal that Cassie reopens for them. Scott is happy to resume his normal life, but he wonders if Kang’s death really triggered something worse, as he was warned. He decides to ignore it for now.
