"There are so many things that excite me about this job. One is that I get to work with black women and girls. My research focuses on improving the sexual and reproductive well-being of black women and girls. Black girls in the United States are one of the most vulnerable populations. The inequities that affect black women, also affect girls. But girls have a lot less agency when it comes to addressing these inequities."
