DreamWorks as a company has had a very strange couple of years. With the release of The Bad Guys and Puss In Boots The Last Wish, it seemed like they were on top of the animation world, with their new art style and affinity for creative innovation. But then following that we've had the likes of Megamind 2, Kung Fu Panda 4 and Trolls 3. Where they've simultaneously lost their initial charm. And now it seems these may be the last squeak of decent content, as rumours are burgeoning out that the production behind DreamWorks' studios are looking to make some major changes. Be it from a 50% staff cut, to outsourcing more projects away to smaller animation houses, it seems the IPs behind DreamWorks and the people that create them are being mishandled in an effort to make cheaper, and far easier content. And it's all timed in advance to a unionist meeting with TAG (The Animation Guild). It's the classic corporate tale. So lemme tell you the murmurs of what's potentially next...
