What a treat it was to experience the 56th annual Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway, my first trip to the iconic and historic dirt track in the gorgeous Pennsylvania Allegheny Mountains. The fairgrounds track also hosted the 169th annual Juniata County Fair, ongoing since 1854. Before the action heated up, I sneaked off behind the race track where I found a passing train and the beautiful Juniata River. The quaint little town of Port Royal is also a treat and you'll discover that too in my next episode. Interviews in this one include 2-time All Star Sprints champion Tyler "Sunshine" Courtney and current All Star championship leader Zeb Wise. I also sneaked in an interview with Brian Brown and a few locals you'll enjoy hearing from. The track itself is incredibly well managed and the facility around it is second to none...and wait till you see the tunnel underneath! It's a storybook track if I've ever seen one.
