Streets across Vietnam erupted with joy as citizens celebrated their 1-0 victory over Thailand on Sunday May 22 winning the gold medal football championship at the 31st SEA Games in Hanoi. Having experienced their last SEA Games football gold medal win in 2019 I was fortunate enough once again to be in Ho Chi Minh City to experience this spectacle. Giant TV screens were set up on the Nguyen Hue Walking Street where thousands gathered to watch the final. At the 84th minute of the game Nham Manh Dung scored the winning goal giving Vietnam their 1-0 victory.
I shot most of the footage on the streets of Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, with the insta360 One R on 3 meter stick. Once again congratulations Vietnam and thank you for another exciting and joyous celebration.
