The RAeS President’s International Women's Day event, held at RAeS HQ and online, provided a vital platform fostering meaningful discussions and practical solutions for the challenges faced by women in the workplace. The aim of the event was to create a safe space for dialogue, empowering attendees through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and support.
Topics such as navigating behaviours in a male dominated workplace; duty of care to women professionals; gender pay/promotion gap; mental health and well-being for women in the workplace were explored.
With a primary objective of facilitating open conversations and addressing pressing issues for women in the industry, this event sought to equip attendees with actionable insights to navigate the complexities of the modern workplace, aiming to empower women and their allies with the tools and confidence to effect positive change.
