All new for its second-generation debut in 2014, the Kia Soul’s new interior, exterior, and technology package charged ahead for its updated iteration, helping to maintain the popularity of the so-called ‘urban hatchback’.

The new interior and body rode atop an all-new chassis that clocks in 29 per cent stiffer than its predecessor, with extensive use of high-strength steel throughout. By stiffening the Soul’s structure, engineers had a better basis from which to tune the steering and suspension attached to it, with the goal of delivering the Soul’s most quiet and responsive ride yet.
