A POV drive in the 20201 Kia Soul. The Kia Soul has always been a BTTD favorite and this latest generation, with a surprisingly smooth and entertaining CVT, is actually fun to drive! Compared to other compacts at this price point, there is no better combination of practicality, features, room, and personality. And the CVT (iVT in Kia speak) really shows the promise of what a CVT can be....seamless, in the background, and making the most of the engine's performance. Yes, there is a recall on the 2020 and 2021 with the 2.0 liter engine due to issues with the piston rings and that stinks. But assuming Kia addresses that and those on the lot now and in manufacturing are clear of that issue, this does deserve a look!
