Today (8th Oct 2022) Wells-Next-The-Sea RNLI lifeboat station in Norfolk took delivery of their brand new Shannon-class lifeboat named 'Duke of Edinburgh'.
The Shannon (RNLB 1346) replaces their current all-weather lifeboat, a Mersey class which has been in service there since 1990 - 32 years of saving lives and the oldest boat currently in the RNLI fleet.
