The official naming ceremony of lifeboat 13-46, an RNLI Shannon-class ALB called 'Duke of Edinburgh'. The naming ceremony was held on Saturday 3rd June 2023 and attended by HRH The Duke of Kent, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, RNLI Chief Executive Mark Dowie, Lady Leicester (Wells RNLI's Vice President), Baroness Glenconner and many more distinguished guests.
Music provided by Fakenham Town Band and huge thanks to Norfolk Constabulary for their assistance with a boat to film the Shannon launching and heading up to the quay.
