بحمد ربي إنني العفيفة ..
Thanks to Allah that I'm a pure woman..

وهذه منظومتي اللطيفة..
Thus, this is my courteous poetry..

فصل يارب على نبينا..
O Allah bless our prophet..

ولترض عن أزواجه قدواتنا..
and be pleased with his wives "our role models "..


أخلاقي..
My good manners..

وبعد فالحياء رأس مالي..
Then, Being Modest is my essence..

وزينتي في الحل والترحال..
and it's my adornment in my staying and traveling..

فبالحياء قد لبست التاج..
With modesty I've worn a crown..

فكنت نجمًا في السماء وهاجًا..
So I became a sky luminous star ..

وبالحياءِ أسدل الثيابَ..
With modesty, I lower the dresses

وألبس الجلباب والنقابَ..
and I wear the Jilbab and the veil ..

وقيمتي في عفتي وحشمتي..
My value is in my pureness and chastity ..

وحمرة الحياء لون وجنتي..
The blush of modesty is the color of my cheeks ..

أمشي بقصد وعلى استحياء..
I walk with a purpose and shyness
بلا تكسر ولا التواء..
With no break or twist..

ومنطقي قصد بلا خضوع..
My speech is serious with no softness.

قراري وسط مسكني المنيع.
My residency is inside my impenetrable house ..

لا أبدي زينتي لدى الأجانبِ..
I never show my adornment to foreign men

وفي الطريق مشيتي بالجانب..
And I walk on the side of the road..

أنا العفيفة التي اجتباها..
I'm the pure woman who got chosen ..

وبالاسلام ربها اصطفاها..
by Her Lord to be a Muslim ..

فلست مثل سائر النساء..
Therefore I'm not like any other woman ..

وهمتي تسمو إلى العلياءِ..
My intention rises to the sky..

عقيدتي أن أخلص العبادة..
My belief is to worship sincerely..

جنات ربي أرجو مع زيادة..
I beg for my Lord's heaven and more "Seeing His almighty face"

وظيفتي..
My job..

وظيفتي خدمة هذا الدين..
My job is to serve this religion "Islam"

كزوج عمران لها حنيني..
As the wife of Imran for she’s my nostalgia..

إذ نذرت ببطنها محررًا..
When she had vowed that what's in her womb will be devoted exclusively for Allah..

فكان عيسى سبطها مبشرًا..
Then with glad tidings - Isa (Son of Mary /Jesus) her grandchild was born..

وأم موسى أرضعته ثديها..
And Musa's mom breastfed him ..

فأرضعته حلمها وعزمها..
She fed him with her forbearing and strength..

أنا العفيفة وحصني داري..
I'm the pure woman and my house is my fort..

فإن خرجت فهو لاضطرارِ..
If I go out then it's for a necessity..

وغايتي أن أنشئ الرجالَ..
My aim is to raise men ..

وأغذو الهرماس والأشبالَ..
And to feed brave tigers and lions..

وظيفتي هندسة الأجيال..
My job is to engineer generations ..

لا أبتغي وظائف الرجال..
I don't seek the occupations of men ..

لها نذرت نفسي لن أنشغلَ..
To my job I dedicated myself so I wouldn't …

عنها فذي وسيلتي إلى العلا..
I wouldn't get distracted and this is my approach to the high..

أسرتي..
My family..

أنا الضعيفة التي قوّاها..
I'm the weak who got strengthened by..

ابن أب أخ وزوج تاهَ..
A son, a father, a brother and a husband ..

هم عدتي بهذه الحياة..
They're my supporters in this life..

يحمونني من سائر الآفات..
They protect me against different harms..

أطيع ربي وأطيع بعلي..
I obey my Lord then my husband..

هما غناي عن شقىً وشغلِ..
They both are enough for me so I don't get exhausted nor consumed..

أخدم زوجي وأقم داري..
I serve/assist my husband and clean my house..

وأطبخ الشهي للصغارِ..
and I cook delicious food for the young ones..

وأغرس الأخلاق في نفوسهم..
I nurture good manners in their souls..

وأبعد الأشواك عن طريقهم..
and keep harm out of their paths..

وقتي الثمين لهم سأبذله..
My precious time is dedicated for them..

أم أنا واجبي سأفعله..
I'm a mother and I'll accomplish my duty..

سأكثر النسل المبارك كما..
I'll increase the blessed generation ..

تأمل الرسول فينا قِدما..
as the prophet hoped to see us beforehand..


وأنصر الإسلام بالأولادِ..
And to help Islam with righteous younglings ..

الصالحين ذاك خير زادِ..
The righteous, and that is the best addition ..

وأختم الكلام بالصلاةِ..
Finally, I seal my speech with blessings

على النبي فاضل الصفاتِ..
to be upon the prophet, the best of mankind..
