We’re diving deeper into the vagus nerve and the work of Stephen Porges. You may have heard of this well-known researcher and neuroscientist. He’s been researching the vagus nerve since the 1960s, both in animals and humans.

He put forward the Polyvagal Theory in 1994 to bring together the research he had done for over 30 years on the vagus nerve and the autonomic nervous system. In his work, he developed a new 3-system model which we will explore deeper in my latest video.
