In this video, I share how a New York City attorney is not ranking in the Google Map pack for the keyword "personal injury attorney." via their local SEO strategy in a 1.5-mile radius around their location.

I share how I use Local Falcon to run the initial report in a 1.5-mile radius. From there, I jump into the competition report to get an idea of who ranks in lower Manhattan for this keyword phrase. I look at the categories for the top-ranking sites, their description, hours, and more.

Next, I look at the example Google My Business account and mention that they have stock photos. Companies should have as many unique images of their team as possible. Next, I say there are a few 5-star Google reviews but no actual written reviews. The other thing I look at is hours. This business is a 24-hour business, but its website does not display that. I've had a few attorneys and other local SEO clients reach out to me who have 24 hours listed as their business. While being open is a ranking factor, you want to be sure you are actually open 24 hours every day. Otherwise, users can submit feedback to Google saying it is invalid.

I also reviewed their products, the lack of updates, and the missing social media icons in their GMB account.

For Bing, I looked at their account to see if their knowledge panel shows. I also looked at their photos and descriptions in Bing.
