This was definitely a make again meal!


Taco Bowl Recipe!


Ingredients:
1.5 lb 99% Lean Ground Turkey
3/4 cup Water
6 tsp low sodium Taco seasoning
1.5 cups Bell Pepper(diced; use any color)
6 TBS Onion (diced)
2 10-oz cans Diced tomatoes with green chiles (drained very well)
1.5 cup Cheddar cheese
Toppings:
1 cup (2.54 oz) Iceberg lettuce (shredded)
1 TBS Guacamole
1 TBS Light Sour cream



Instructions:
1. In a large saute at medium heat, add brown ground turkey. Cook, breaking apart with a spatula, for 8-10 minutes, until browned.

2. Add the water and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil, then simmer for a 2-5 minutes, until it thickens and taco meat forms.

3. Transfer the Turkey to the croclkpot. Add the diced peppers, onions, and drained diced tomatoes with green chiles. Mix everything together.

4. Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook for 4 hours on Low or 2-3 hours on High.

5. 5 minutes before serving, stir the casserole and top with the shredded cheddar cheese. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes, until the cheese melts.

6. Top your casserole with lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole.


7. Enjoy
