On March 16, 2024 the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) officially began enforcement of the Remote ID regulation that came to be in 2021.

A month ago I reached out to the FAA via email to ask what the plans are for active or passive enforcement and the response I got from a well-meaning representative of the FAA was...well...really disappointing...
