I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Today I dive into the 3 most common issues on these Chevy 6.6L gas engines.

1. Oil consumption
- these engines have been seeing some oil consumption happen, it seems like the oil control piston rings are letting oil pass up into the combustion chamber and getting burnt. there is also possibility that the PCV is letting oil into the intake and burning it.

2. Direct Injection Carbon Build-UP
- these V8 engines are direct injection and this can result over time of the intakes getting full of carbon deposits resulting in less air flow getting into the cylinder. this will lead to lack of power, rough running engines and even missfires

3. Engine Ticking Noise
- owners have been reporting odd ticking noises coming from the engine. this does seem to be some sort of mystery even the dealership are having a hard time pin pointing. I personally think the noise has to do with the fueling system or low octane fuel being used

4. Lack of Acceleration
- I've heard people complain that this truck does not have good enough acceleration and well it is not the fastest truck I've driven but it's not supposed to be. this engine does a great job pulling under load and I don't know what else you could ask for out of a work engine.

Hope you guys liked the video!
