Camryn and Adrienne visited the Clades in search of a skiff. Camryn wants to get a used skiff. Searcher Clade converted the skiff to use batteries instead of Pando. It does not run like it used to. The skiff is too heavy. Camryn thinks she can fix the skiff by adding another air compartment to help lift the skiff better.

Camryn and Adrienne are fascinated with the plants in Clades' farm. While walking around the farm, they realized the Sun moves around randomly in Avalonia. They wonder how the plants adopted to the Avalonian environment without the regular day and night cycles. They also wonder if the gravity in Avalonia is lower than Earth.

McKeyla and Bryden make a presentation for Rapunzel and Flynn. Rapunzel likes to help fund McKeyla's research. Rapunzel is interested in the plants of Avalonia, particularly how Pando works and if they will grow on Earth as well. McKeyla does not think so because Pando works like a parasite. McKeyla promises to bring back some answers to Rapunzel's questions.

Dizzy and Celia go on a shopping for the expedition. They figured out how to use the flint to start a fire. they also start a journal, which they need to write down all of their observations and questions. Dizzy and Celia are ready to record their first expedition.

Adrienne: Maybe we could borrow a skiff from the Clades.
McKeyla: They need it for their farming operation. We can't just take them indefinitely.
Adrienne: Can you fix old skiffs?
Camryn: Ah, nothing a little grease can't fix.
McKeyla: Ok. Camryn, Adrienne, come back with a nice used skiff. Nothing too expensive.
Camryn: Ok. Let's go do some shopping. Woo hoo.

Act2:
Dizzy: Whoa, we got a huge list. Adrienne wants us to go look for these items.
Celia: Is that everything we need?
Dizzy: Looks like some food, some medicine, some camping gears, I don't know what these are.
Celia: Ok. Let's go look for these one by one.
Dizzy: First stop, we need to go look for a flint so we can start a fire.

Act3:
McKeyla: I want to make a presentation for Rapunzel and Flynn. They said they are interested in funding our research.
Bryden: Is there anything in particular they are interested in?
McKeyla: I'm going to guess they are interested in plants of Avalonia. I guess we will find out what they want to know when we get there.

Act4:
Camryn: Hello.
Searcher: Welcome to my farm. It's just the two of you?
Camryn: Yes, McKeyla and Bryden are busy making a presentation.
Searcher: That's too bad. Maybe some other time. Come in. Come in.
Camryn: Thank you. We are interested in getting ourselves a small skiff.
Ethan: You can borrow mine.
Camryn: No, we would like to get one of our own.

Act5:
Dizzy: Whoa. I think this is called Flint.
Celia: Do you know how to use it?
