There's a storm brewing so we spend a blustery day at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios. We emerse ourselves in Galaxy's Edge and ride Rise of the Resistance, become pilots on Millenium Falcon: Smuggler's Run and browse the shops of Batuu. We ride Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway before heading to Disney Springs to try a cookie and cold brew from Gideons Bakehouse.

There's a weather warning for Orlando so we ride to. make the most of the morning by utilising the early entry for resort guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's the first day that park reservations are not required for date-based tickets but we hadn't read the small print to know that Annual Passholders still needed to book! Luckily the cast member at the gate takes pity on us and lets us in!

We haven't been able to ride Slinky Dog Dash on ur last two trips so we decide to head there straight away only to find that the ride is down. So, we decide to go to Galaxy's Edge and join the stand by line for Rise of the Resistance closely followed by Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run where we get to be pilots.

Slinky Dog Dash is back up so we brave the 70 minute standby line and then ride Minnie and Mickey's Runaway Railway. We venture into Pixar Place and wander through the Edna Mode Experience - even though she was not available for the meet and greet - on our way to Toy Story Mania where Keith scores "Best in Vehicle"!

We make our way back to Galaxy's Edge and spend some time soaking in the atmosphere, avoiding Storm Troopers and browsing in the Black Spire Outpost Market and shops of Batuu.

We take the bus to Saratoga Springs and walk to Disney Springs. The queue for Gideon's Bakehouse is only 10 minutes and we grab a cookie and a peanut butter cold brew to share. They do not disappoint!

The stormy weather starts to descend so we take refuge in World of Disney and wait out the worst of the rain before taking the bus back to the resort and end the day with a light meal in the Riverside Mill Food Court.
