Join us for our first full day on the parks. We spend the day at Epcot where we enjoy many of our favourite attractions and discover the new World Celebration Gardens. We explore World Showcase and wait for it to get dark to see Moana Journey of Water at night and the Christmas overlay at Living with the Land before enjoying dinner at Boatwrights Dining Hall at Port Orlean Riverside.

We spend the first full park day of our trip in our favourite park, Epcot. First we head to The Land to ride Soarin' Over California and Living with the Land. We are fascinated by the Christmas overlay on Living with the Land and plan to come back later and ride it again in the dark to get the full effect.

We attempt to join the stand by line for Remy's Ratatoullie Adventure but the ride is down so we head back to Connections Cafe for some coffee and a pastry. On the way we take a short cut through the Creations store and browse some of the new merchandise.

We exit the cafe into the new World Celebration Gardens where we find the statue of Walt the Dreamer and then, in the spirit of enjoying all things new at Epcot, we make our way to Moana Journey of Water before riding the classic Nemo and Friends.

We watch the short conservation film, Awesome Planet, before heading to Guardians of the Galaxy:Cosmic Rewind.

It's time for lunch so we head to World Showcase and enjoy some nachos from La Cantina de San Angel quick service counter at the Mexico pavilion. Keith needs to satisfy his sweet tooth so we make our way to the Norway pavilion for some school bread.

We browse our way round World Showcase, stopping off in The Fjording store in Norway, the House of Good Fortune in China and the Karamell-Küche, Die Weihnachts Ecke and the Stein Haus shops in Germany before ending up at the American pavilion where we enjoy the Voices of Liberty and catch the American Adventure show.

We take a quick look in the Art of Disney store and then pop in to the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival which we thoroughly enjoy.

As dusk starts to fall we make our way back to Moana Journey of Water to enjoy the experience with the lighting effects at night and then it's back to Living with the Land where the Christmas overlay at night does not disappoint.

We finish the day back at the resort with a tasty and great value meal at Boatwrights Dining Hall.
