Good day! :D

Following the end of World War II, it was clear to the aircraft building industries of the globe that the era for flying boats in mainstream aviation had been left behind in the pre-war era, though this did not stop companies creating notorious failures that were attempting to appeal to a market that no longer existed.

The Short SA.6 Sealand was the opposite, attempting to tap into an application for which flying boats demonstrably had a continued use during the late 1940s and early 1950s, though sadly, due to issues regarding its underpowered engines and poor open sea performance, the Sealand would prove to be the last British built flying boat ever produced.
