Have if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Oh wait they changed how much? Ignore my last comment. The MCU is often considered one of the more faithful adaptations, but it turns out that a larger percentage of their characters’ origins fall far outside the realm of their comic beginnings. However, I would say more often than not it leads to some pretty good results. Sometimes it’s just very difficult to translate origins from the page to the screen. That or the writers really are just trying to throw comic nerds who think they know what’s going to happen for a loop. Let’s take a look at some origin stories in the MCU that have been completely changed from the comics right now.

Given that there have been three different Spider-Man‘s in the MCU alone, I think it’s safe to say at least one of their back stories differs from the comics. Truthfully the three Spider-Man depicted in Spider-Man no way home together form different aspects of Peter‘s backstory in the comics. Heroes and villains have seen drastic changes from comics to the big screen. Spider-Man might be slightly different, but some of his villains take a drastic turn. It’s almost never a straight cut and paste, and sometimes some page to screen adaptations work out much better than others. Which Marvel character’s origin story do you think differs from the comics to the MCU the most? Be sure to like, subscribe, and comment your answer, or else the next origin story the change will be like what they did to Deadpool in 2009. I remember that, please don’t put me through it again.
