In July 2022 Becky Kagan Schott and her team were the first to create a 3D model of the Sidewheel Steamer Detroit. The Detroit sank in 1854 in a collision and has been on the bottom of Lake Huron since. It was discovered by shipwreck hunter David Trotter and first sketched by Marine Artist Robert McGreevy.
