This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2023 Honda Accord hybrid. sedan. The Honda Accord hybrid is now longer by over 2.5” and offers a sleeker design with a broader stance, long hood, clean lines and a flowing fastback roofline. In the rear, the Honda Accord hybrid has distinctive horizontal LED straight-line taillights that accentuate the wider stance.
There are only two trims iof the all-new Honda Accord n Canada and four in the US. The Honda Accord Sport model has black exterior accents including black side mirrors, a black rear spoiler and black 19” wheels. The top Touring Honda Accord model we are driving has gloss black 19” wheels with silver and black exterior accents, this hybrid has a tire repair kit.
The interior of this new 2023 Honda Accord looks a lot like the Civic with the metal mesh spanning the dash covering the air vents to give the Accord a clean and modern look. The new Honda Accord comes standard with some great features like a 10.2” digital driver display, a 12.3” touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, an 8-speaker audio system, a power driver’s seat, manual passenger seat, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, fabric upholstery and a moonroof. In the US, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are not standard.
The Honda Accord hybrid has a 2L 4-cylinder with a pair of electric motors matched to an ECVT, a combined 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque. This a FWD model.
In Canada the Honda Accord Sport model starts at $42,955 CAD and the Touring $46,455 CAD.
In the US, the Honda Accord Sport starts at $31,895 USD, EX-L $33,540 USD, Sport-L $33,875 USD and Touring $37,890 USD.
The fuel economy rating for the Honda Accord Hybrid gets 5.0L/100 km, 46 MPG city and 5.7L/100 km, 41 MPG highway.
