Nissan used mild hybrid technology in the Qashqai's engine, which provides greater efficiency and reduces carbon emissions. In mild hybrid technology, the gasoline engine is supported by a 12V electrical system and lithium-ion battery. Thanks to the energy recovery system, the lithium-ion battery stores the energy released during braking and supports the gasoline engine by sending it to the electric motor when necessary. In this way, it helps reduce fuel consumption by reducing the load on the gasoline engine and the vehicle can stay in stop/start mode for longer.

Qashqai, the only model with mild hybrid technology among C-SUV models in the Turkish market, offers one of the highest torque values ​​in its segment with 270 Nm (CVT).

Qashqai with 4x4 Traction System is unrivaled in its class

The new generation Qashqai, which is the first model in its segment to offer gasoline mild hybrid technology with a 4x4 traction system, appeals to a wider user base.

The 4x4 traction system is combined with XTRONIC CVT transmission and rear independent suspension. Rear independent suspension contributes to the car's handling and offers maximum comfort, especially for rear seat passengers.

3 different driving modes are offered as standard in Qashqai: Eco, Standard, Sport.

When the 4x4 traction system is preferred, 2 more driving modes are added that provide optimum traction by activating the lock function, especially at the first start: Off-road and Snow.

Various improvements have been made to the new X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission to be integrated with mild hybrid technology. While the friction inside the transmission was reduced by 29%, its structure was made 14% more compact. At the same time, to increase driving pleasure, gear shifting responses were made more sporty and shift paddles behind the steering wheel, which are featured for the first time in Qashqai, were added.
