Welcome to Book Club, a series where I look at books covering Productivity, Agility and Mindset and how we can apply lessons from these great authors to have a more productive and joyful experience at work.

In this second episode of Book Club, we are looking at the famous book The Fifth Discipline by Peter Senge. In this book Peter explores how we are born with an innate curiosity and drive to learn and grow and how 'the system' actually destroys our passion for learning.

As a direct consequence of this only 30 out of the FTSE 100 (Largest 100 companies on the London Stock Exchange) have survived over the past 35 years. The best corporations that actually survive, are those that promote learning and growth across the organisation through the practice of Five Key Disciplines which are prerequisites for success and building a learning organisation.

WHO AM I:

I'm Ahmed a Scaled Agile Transformation and Productivity coach based in the UK. I believe that we spend far too much time at work to not be productive, efficient, but most importantly to really love and enjoy our work. The goal of this channel is to bring Productivity, Agility and Joy into the workplace, so we can all do some great work and also love what we do. We tend to focus a lot on Scaled Agile Program Increment Planning and the Scaled Agile Framework as well as how to be productive and stress free (okay, stress less) at work.
