Porsche 911 993. Back in the day I yearned for all of those Porsche 911 versions yet in 1994 I was dazzled by the 993. For me this one banished all of the earlier models to history.
With hindsight it now seems Zuffenhausen hit the target with this cars blend of technology, air-cooled development, and for the 1990’s a high tech appearance based upon the 959 hyper car. We can now see this for what it was back then - a fitting final hurrah for Porsche air cooled engined cars.
