Porsche’s version of the Goldilocks tale is the 993-generation 911, the one many Porschephiles agree that the company got just right. It’s an ideal blend of technology and classic 911 air-cooled heritage. Today, a naturally aspirated 993 is a fantastic way to score a legendary sports car for V-6–family-sedan coin, but finding and buying a good one may not be so easy.

Porsche produced the 993-generation cars from 1995 through 1998 and these things are getting hard to find and are skyrocketing in value.

Yes the 993 turbo kills bugs really fast but the model I enjoy the most is this particular car. The 1998 C2S does it all for me, its quick enough and feels like a gentleman’s sports car. That said I think I have seen more women driving the 993 lately and that is even better!
