When it comes to language acquisition, I'm focused primarily on trying to get my pronunciation to as-easy-to-understand for locals as possible. Obviously, I'll always have an English-speaker's accent, but there's been a ton of value in finding someone who is a native-speaker of the target language and ask that they be absolutely RUTHLESS with me until I can get as close as I reasonably can in as short a time as possible.

As some of you may know, I originally started this channel to help me stay accountable after visiting the doctor and learning that I was "dangerously pre-diabetic". Thanks to keto and fasting, my bloodwork just 3 months later came back as completely normal (no longer pre-diabetic). Because of that, I no longer drink sugary drinks, hence my beverage breakdown now.

The time I spent consulting in IW was a period of my life I'll never forget. It was a period of growing up, and perhaps, forcefully growing OUT of my delinquent youthful years of being generally an aggressive hothead, where I got to see what REAL suffering at scale was like. It also enabled me to travel quite extensively, but most of all, got to show me that everyone on earth is after the same thing: safety, work that supports self and family, and the fair opportunity to grow.

Miss my dad. But selfishly, I moreso miss that he didn't get to see that his efforts in providing for me were not in vain. He was killed before I "had my life together", and again, selfishly, I wish he was alive to just know that I'd be alright.
