DIY: Hydroponic Lettuce Seedling Partition. Preventing Root Entanglement For Hassle-Free Transplant

It's very common to see online hydroponic lettuce roots clinging together when growing in a shared container. This situation can be easily avoided by wide spacing or using separate containers.

However, there are cases where this can't be avoided, like using a bucket to grow multiple lettuce or using a shared seedling container.

Seedling roots can be easily untangled, but may stress the young plants or break their roots. It's also takes a lot of extra effort. Preventing tangled roots from happening is a better option.

This video shows a more permanent solution, using recycled materials. One that's reusable and easy to make.
