The all-new 2021 Genesis G80 is a mid-size luxury car from Korea. This new G80 sedan is the bait for the first Genesis SUV, the GV80, which is out now. This all-new 2021 Genesis G80 replaces the oldest model the Genesis lineup, the original Hyundai Genesis. This new G80 comes with two trims, a 2.5L turbo 4-cylinder or 3.5l turbo V6. The base model is called the G80 Advantage and comes with standard AWD, 300hp and 311lb-ft. of torque. The G80 3.5T is also AWD and called Prestige and comes with 375hp and 390lb.-ft of torque. The most recognizable features on the outside of the G80 and all Genesis products going forward are the two horizontal lights that run from the front headlamp cluster, down the side marker lights and into the rear tail lamps. This and the extra-large grille with G-Matrix design are all now part of the Genesis design language. Inside is a showcase for fine materials and the latest connectivity. The 14.5-inch display audio system is the widest in the industry and is controlled through voice commands, touch or a centre control wheel. The wheel works with very mixed results, not the most intuitive in the business for sure. The top trim gets open pore wood grain, quilted seats and a 3D instrument cluster along with adaptive suspension. The base is also nicely equipped with a large pano-roof and adjustable drive settings, making it a fun car to drive. Genesis at Home is the real difference maker, with complimentary maintenance, valet pick up and drop off, courtesy car, 5-year warranty, 5-year map upgrades, 24/7 roadside assistance and connected survives. This is all include in the price for 5-years.
