Climate change is responsible for many adverse health consequences. For those with limitations in physical, cognitive, or psychological abilities, our changing climate requires a unique lens to provide optimal care for these populations. In this presentation from March 26, 2024, Patrice Nicholas, DNSc, DHL (Hon), MPH, MS, RN, NP-C, FAAN, and Sarah McKinnon, OT, OTR, OTD, BCPR, MPA, FAOTA, FNAP, discuss considerations for these populations, and ways to promote awareness and advocate for accessibility and inclusion.
This program is part of the Climate Change and Health Series, a collaboration among the Maxwell & Eleanor Blum Patient and Family Learning Center, the MGH Center for the Environment and Health, and the MGH Institute of Health Professions Center for Climate Change, Climate Justice, and Health.
