Once considered a working class suburb, Atwater village has become a hugely popular destination for those looking for tree-lined streets and room to grow. Nestled between the neighborhoods of Los Feliz, Silverlake and the city of Glendale, it’s just 10 minutes away from downtown Los Angeles.

The influx of artists and entertainment professionals has brought aneclectic variety of new boutiques and shops to this LA neighborhood. Glendale and Los Feliz Blvd host the highest concentration of new bars and eateries, alongside historic establishments like the Tam ‘o’ Shanter built in 1922.

The adjacent Los Angeles River recreation area hosts a variety of
outdoor activities, and is the gateway to Griffith Park and its many
additional offerings.

Most properties were developed before the 1940’s, and retain much oftheir historic charm to this day. Atwater village homes run the gamut, from the well-known fantasy bungalows of Brunswick Street, to more traditional Tutor, Spanish, California Bungalow and Modern styles seen throughout the region.

Atwater village is served by 3 California distinguished public schools and the privately run Holly Trinity School.

The Atwater Village farmers market is a weekly community event held just blocks away from the newly developed artist enclave of Atwater crossing, home to theatre productions, upscale restaurants and modern LEED certified townhomes.
