In this video, I discuss the limitations that come with owning a Bitcoin ETF, instead of controlling real BTC by holding your own private keys.

Shares of a Bitcoin ETF are trapped inside of your brokerage account and the existing fiat system. That means that they can be frozen, confiscated, or otherwise captured and controlled by other people. This is why Bitcoin ETFs are not freedom money.

By contrast, when you hold your own Bitcoin private keys on a hardware wallet, you have the ability to send BTC to anyone in the world, without needing to ask anyone's permission. You also don't need to worry about confiscation if you hold your own Bitcoin private keys.

Get a good hardware wallet like the BitKey, Blockstream Jade or Coldcard. Buy it directly from the manufacturer-- never buy a used hardware wallet or one from a 3rd party seller, as it could contain malware or compromised hardware.
