Researchers across the world rely on a variety of samples of DNA to make groundbreaking scientific discoveries for all types of diseases. Africa is the most genetically diverse region in the world. Yet only 2% of the continents DNA is available for this research. Ashionye Ogene reports on the Nigerian biotech start up called 54gene who are building Africa's first DNA biobank.
