Last year myself and Jen decided to film a short horror film and upload if for Halloween. It wasn't an overly ambitious project with just myself and Jen acting in it and me doing all the filming, sound and lighting (as well as post prod.). It didn't have a very complex story either, very simple. But part of me though that it would do quite well, perhaps even go viral or semi-viral so to speak. The latter meaning that it might rack up a million or two views in a few months. Well, it didn't go viral but it did do OK. So in this video I'm going to explain how I went about creating this spooky atmospheric but far from perfect short film. If you're into low budget filmmaking and like doing things on your own then this video may have something interesting for you. One thing to note. Sadly, I lost a lot of the original RAW files from the filming. Therefore I couldn't show you a before and after of some of the FX done.
