The evil eye refers to the harm someone may encounter due to jealousy or envy towards others. It starts when the person likes a thing, then his evil feelings affect it, by means of his repeated looking at the object of his jealousy. The evil eye is real & shouldn't be taken lightly. Most people are negligent in protecting themselves & don't worry about showing off their blessings; posting every detail of their life on social media. Know that not everyone who sees your story will be happy for you! The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) encouraged his companions to recite Ruqyah, which is seeking protection in Allah in the way of reciting a compilation of ayahs and dua’s from the Quran.
