Born into a Christian family, Abdullah's path to Islam was both unexpected and profoundly transformative. It all started with a phone call from his mother in July 2016, delivering the heartbreaking news of his father's passing. Abdullah's father had immigrated to America from Kumasi, Ghana, with dreams of providing a better life for his family. A man of integrity and strength, he instilled in Abdullah the values of love, care, and perseverance. Despite being raised in a Christian household, Abdullah's journey to Islam was sparked by encounters with Sunni Muslim brothers who introduced him to the pure monotheism of Islam.
