In readiness for a 2nd year of operations based from London LMS Jubilee no 45596 'Bahamas' was to haul Railway Touring Company's "The Yorkshireman" from Leicester to York & return to Ealing Broadway via the Midland Mainline on Saturday 11th June 2022, this tour would put 'Bahamas' in position for its summer stint in the south

Starting off at Thurmaston, nr Syston on the run from York to London 'Bahamas' picks up speed having switch from the slow to the fast line ahead of its booked water stop at Humberstone Road, tender filled up the Jubilee is next at Kibworth, nr Market Harborough at speed with steam to spare and getting a helping hand from the Class 47 on the rear

In the last rays of light the Jubilee is next seen in a sunset silhouette at Clapham, nr Bedford, her double chimney exhaust can be heard as she accelerates away from a 20mph speed limit at Oakley but soon shuts off ahead of the fixed double amber aspect

The early running and a sprint down the A6 enabled one final hasty shot of 45596 departing my local station at Bedford having dropped off passengers, her sound echoing across the town as the nightclub life will soon begin
