The first Saturday of April saw Ian Riley's Black Five 44871 making a rare appearance in the West Midlands at the head of 'The Worcester Steam Express' from Norwich to Worcester in place of 45596 Bahamas, the latter replacing 45596 was which unable to run due to the ongoing dispute between the ORR & West Coast Railways regarding Central Door Locking.

We kick things off at Droitwich Spa where 44871 is seen accelerating her away off the Junction with the outward leg to Worcester.

Our final takes us to Vigo Crossing on the Infamous Lickey Incline, where 44871 is captured as she stormed her way up the fierce 1 in 37 climb to Barnt Green, an interesting side note is the slightly weird high pitched sounding whistle which can be heard after the initial whistle on her Stanier Hooter.
