Update on my condition after being hit in the face with a cut-off wheel without safety glasses.

After the lacerations have healed, I am left with a traumatic cataract that is continuing to blur my vision. However, my doctor is optimistic that after surgery I will have near normal vision again.

All said and done my insurance was billed over $65,000 for this dumb mistake, and my portion is exceeding well over $5000. Please always wear your safety glasses and other PPE!
