In this episode, we are in Manassas, Virginia, working on a beautiful@dahertbm. This TBM 940 is BRAND NEW! It has a new technology that can automatically land the airplane when the pilot is incapacitated. Basically, all the pilot or passenger has to do is hit a distress button, to automatically land the aircraft at the nearest “suitable” airport. Pretty cool, right?

We want to show you some of the cleaning solutions for a TBM 940. The products I generally use are a foamer, a sprayer, No-Rinse, and Release-Ultra. Normally what I would do on a dirtier airplane is take the foamer and put about 1:20 dilution in it. We use this foam solution to soak and lift up that built-up exhaust and wipe it off. Then, we go over it with No-Rinse at a 1:20 dilution to remove the soap residue. Because this plane isn’t that dirty, I take that 1:20 “ONR” dilution and put a 1:40 dilution of Release in it to spike it!
