The Ram 1500 competes against trucks like the all-new Ford F-150 (with the aluminum body and new smaller EcoBoost engine), the Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra and Toyota Tundra. The Ram 1500 is the only light duty 1500 series pickup truck to offer a diesel engine. The EcoDiesel is a V6 turbocharged motor with impressive fuel economy, especially when towing. Another exclusive class option is the four-corner air suspension with accessible height mode, Aero mode, normal height and two off-road heights.

Nearing $51,000 the 2015 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel Outdoorsman offers plenty of rear interior room, fuel efficiency and towing capability. The downside will be the lack of the HEMI rumble and 0-60 acceleration.
