GOLDEN YELLOW FRIED RICE
Ingredients:
1.Egg – 3, keep the yolks and white separate
2.White raw rice, cooked – 1 cup
3.White pepper – ¼ tsp
4.Salt – as needed
5.Sesame oil – 3 tsp
6.Spring onion, chopped – ½ cup
Method:
Make a thin omelette using the egg white, roll the same and cut the rolls in ¼ inches to make long white strips.
Into a bowl add the cooked rice, the yolk, pepper, salt and 1 tsp sesame oil and mix well.
Into a pan goes 2 tsp sesame oil, add the spring onion and saute for 30 sec. Now add the yellow rice and saute well and make sure it does not get over dried.
Fill the rice in a bowl, patting it down and then invert the rice dome on to a serving plate.
Top up /decorate with the strings of white omelette on top with few chopped spring onions and serve hot.
