President M. Russell Ballard was laid to rest on Nov. 17, 2023, after his death at age 95.

Funeral services for President Ballard, acting president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, took place at the Tabernacle on Temple Square.

Ballard died surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, Nov. 12. He had recently transitioned back home from a hospital stay.
